The Product Sales and Services Team Lead will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest service. He/She will supervise daily operations at one of our Product Sales offices and is responsible for selling tickets, passes and ski school products. The Team Lead will maintain a professional, positive and supportive work environment that enables a strong cohesive team to ensure an "experience of a lifetime" for all guests. This is achieved through focus on quality control, training and staff performance through development and teamwork, communication, guest relations, administrative duties and self development.

Additional responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

  • Daily interaction with guests

  • Open and close Product Sales location: Count location vault and banks, plan station assignments for staff, monitor breaks and lunches, close stations and locations, drop station audit packs and bank deposits

  • Manage daily hours of individual staff members by assisting with schedules and ensuring that no labor is wasted based on business volume

  • Provide on-going job performance feedback, coaching and training to staff

  • Create a fun, positive and supportive work environment

  • Communicate and educate staff about all new information, lead morning meetings

  • Complete performance appraisals for staff members

  • Assist with training and continual training for new policies and procedures as they are revised throughout season

  • Enter time and labor for staff

  • Order change and office supplies, ensuring office is stocked appropriately

  • High visibility with guests and staff

  • Good problem solving and decision making skills

  • Data entry and process of guest information and documents, verifying information and reviewing various reports

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent - required

  • At least 2 years guest service experience - required

  • At least one season working at the BC Summer Adventure Center - required

  • At least 1 season supervisory experience at a BC Product Sales and Services location - required

  • At least 1 year cash handling experience - required

  • Computer experience (WindowsXP, Exel, Microsoft Word proficiency) - required

  • Fluent in all aspects of English - required (Spanish speaking a plus)

  • Ability to professionaly and tactfully interact and communicate with guests, staff and other departments

  • Ability to multi-task, use personal judgment and utilize strong decision making skills

  • Point of Sale experience - required

  • Good organizational skills

  • Interview in person - required

  • Position may be subject to a background check

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs - required

  • Must have a minimum of one season as a Team Lead

Schedule 4 days per week, 9-10 hours a day with an 7:30 AM start time. Must commit to one weekend day and holidays. Must be available from October 22, 2018- April 14th, 2019
