The Marketing Manager for the Destination Marketing Team is responsible for strategy development, go-to-market implementation and driving destination business results. The job requires strategic orientation, leadership, and a highly developed set of marketing skills that come together to drive successful sales, market share and profit growth. Success in this role requires unflappable leadership that can drive business results while managing change and ambiguity.

This position will be critical in leading the development and implementation of data-driven, multi-channel marketing efforts that drive return rate of existing guests to our portfolio of resorts. Specific responsibilities for these efforts will cross a comprehensive set of marketing channels, including email, direct mail, push notification, online, display, video, social, native and more. This position will leverage guest behavior and marketing performance data to ideate, define and implement enterprise-level strategy. Managing a complex go-to-market construct across 8 destination resorts is key focus of this position, requiring strong project management skills and a proven ability to assimilate and implement executive-level feedback across strategy areas.

The Marketing Manager position will also be responsible for day-to-day relations with internal and external creative agencies, vendors, outside corporate partners, and internal relations with departments such as resort marketing directors and managers, international marketing, sales, digital and content marketing teams.

The position requires analytical prowess and superior interpersonal relationship building and communication skills.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES

  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans and subsequently carry through to execution, measurement and optimization

  • Track ongoing results. Investigate, analyze and communicate key successes and opportunities to key stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute new ideas to meet growth objectives for the company

  • Actively collaborate with Resort teams to drive collective success

  • Ability to work closely with Research and Analytics teams to develop insights, “tell the story” of the data, and harness it to inform strategic decision making

  • Develop and execute all marketing initiatives, including contingency planning

  • Develop and evolve multi-channel brand campaigns

  • Oversight of brand campaigns and associated advertising elements

  • Deliver key presentations to upper management and provide regular reports on the state of the business

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, communications or advertising, and a minimum of five years of specific related experience in advertising and/or marketing. Resort or hospitality experience is also preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years Marketing experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail and fiscally minded.
