Spa and Fitness Front Desk Agent - Arrowhead Alpine Club - Part Time, Summer Seasonal

The Front Desk Agents assist members and guests in all spa and fitness related areas in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.This position requires immediate, efficient, and friendly customer service for members. Scheduling, confirming, and billing spa appointments, maintaining appearance of the Spa Boutique, maintaining cleanlines and appearance of fitness areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serves members efficiently, promptly, and courteously by giving the highest level of customer service

  • Greets members and guests.

  • Accurately schedules, confirms and bills spa treatments.

  • Consistently interacts professionally with members and guests.

  • Provides information on events, promotions, and special offers.

  • Actively promotes fitness classes, personal training, and spa treatments.

  • Documents and handles billing transactions for retail items, spa, and fitness services.

  • Solves member issues within your authority level. If unable to resolve, passes on to manager for further assistance.

  • Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the retail, desk and fitness areas.

  • Arrives on time and in uniform for your shift.

  • Always holds a professional attitude when discussing the club and anything in relation to it.

  • Is consistent and proficient on all computer programs including JONAS (after provided training), Word, and Excel.

  • Thoroughly understands and follows proper opening and closing policies and procedures.

  • Uses proper telephone etiquette.

  • Works on special projects as assigned.

  • Performs general office work such as word processing, filing and data entry.

  • Accurately follows SOX policies when completing accounting reports.

  • Attends all mandatory staff meetings and trainings.

  • Complies with facility usage policies in training manual.

  • Performs other duties required by the manager on duty.

  • Knows all safety and emergency procedures and accident prevention policies and procedures.


  • HS Diploma or Equivalent - required

  • Previous guest service experience - required

  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, early morning, and evening shifts - required

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, comprehend and understand English fluently - required

  • Ability to handle guest complaints and questions in a professional manner - required

  • Provide friendly customer service - required

  • Satisfactory background check - required
