The Keystone Ticket Scanner is the ultimate resort host. Each ticket scanner provides an experience of a lifetime by greeting, scanning, and engaging every guest every time. You should be friendly, approachable, detail-oriented, and enjoy making it easy. The ideal candidate should enjoy working outdoors and demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally with guests and co-workers.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet, engage, and scan every guest, every time.

  • Converse with guests and provide information about the mountain and resort base area.

  • Arrive on time ready to scan entire shift.

  • Welcome the guest by name whenever possible.

  • Daily set up and tear down of base area lift mazes.

  • Professional and effective communication with guests and internal departments. Frequent contacts include Ticket Sales, Lift Operations, Keystone Security, Mountain Safety, and Ski Patrol.

  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times in stressful situations.

  • Maintaining safe areas of operation.

  • Follow instructions given by manager, supervisors, and leads.

  • Work on a team environment.

  • Presenting yourself in a professional manner by adhering to company guidelines on grooming and attire.

  • Have fun!

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in all aspects of English – required

  • One (1) year guest service experience – required

  • Willing to work outdoors in all alpine winter weather conditions – required

  • Able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Able to stand for the entire work shift.

  • Able to commit to entire season – required.

Learn more about:

  • Schedule: Four (4) set shifts per week. Shifts are nine (9) hours from 7am – 4pm

  • Employment dates: November 3, 2018 – April 7, 2019.

  • Required Training: November 3, 2018
