Mountain Dining Brand Ambassador – Full/Part Time – Winter/Seasonal - Heavenly
The Brand Ambassador is responsible for creating and maintaining crowd excitement at our restaurants and Après events while engaging guests. This can include, but is not limited to; acting as party host, wear a restaurant themed costume, and coordinate flash mob routines. Ambassadors are required to have creativity and maintain a cheery, spontaneous demeanor.
Crowd engagement while wearing a food themed costume (French Fries, Hot Dog, Beer Mug, etc.) for periods of the day
Prepares prize wheel and customer engagement promotions
Ensure we meet all guests expectations and create an enjoyable and comfortable ambiance
Announce Mountain Dining outlet’s opening hours and happy hours
Manage "Crowd-Control" in Mountain Dining Outlets. Manage guest flow in/out of capacity restricted spaces.
Distribute samples to our guests
May be required to work in other Mountain Dining positions (Cashier, Back of House, Cleaning, etc) as needed
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours
Must be able to speak, read and communicate clearly in English
Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card
Educational Requirements: HS Diploma or GED
Communication Requirements: Ability to speak, read and communicate clearly in English
Guest service skills: Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail and timeliness
Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the season
Ability to Ski/Ride at an Intermediate Level (on mountain lodges only)
Willingness to work in other positions on mountain, as assigned
Must have a flexible work schedule which includes holidays and weekends. Part Time (24 hours a week) and Full Time (40 hours a week) shifts are available as well as the opportunity for Overtime during Peak business periods.
We have on-mountain and base area positions available. Employees assigned to an on-mountain location must be able to Ski/Ride at an Intermediate Level and pass a Ski/Ride test upon hire. Positions are available in the following locations:
Stagecoach Lodge (Base Lodge in Nevada)
Boulder Lodge (Base Lodge in Nevada)
East Peak Lodge (On-Mountain Lodge in Nevada/Intermediate ski/ride level required)
Tamarack Lodge (On Mountain Lodge in California/No ski/ride test required)
Steins (On Mountain Lodge in California/Intermediate ski/ride level required)
Sky Deck (On Mountain Lodge in California/Intermediate ski/ride level required)
Lakeview Lodge (On Mountain Lodge in California/No ski/ride test required)
California Main Lodge (Base Lodge in California)
