Mountain Dining Entry Transport – Snowmobile Driver – Full Time – Winter Seasonal – Heavenly


The Entry Transport - Snowmobile Driver is an Entry Position for the Mountain Dining Department at Heavenly. Snowmobile Drivers are responsible for operating a snowmobile to transport materials (food, supplies, kegs) and/or employees. Duties include maintaining fence perimeter around snowmobile, as well as cleaning restrooms, disposal of trash, food prep and cooking while not driving the snowmobile.


  • Transporting food, trash, supplies, equipment, and employees in a safe and effective manner

  • Responsible for department snowmobile, daily inspection, and scheduling maintenance when needed

  • Responsible for fluids and small maintenance of snowmobiles

  • Following all Safety Guidelines while driving the snowmobile on terrain also occupied by guests, skiers, and riders

  • Logging all trips made on the snowmobile

Job Requirements:

  • MUST possess clean driving record and valid DMV issues driver's license

  • MUST be able to successfully pass company training and testing prior to operating a snowmobile

  • MUST have previous experience driving a snowmobile

  • MUST be able to work outdoors in a harsh winter environment

  • Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year

  • This position is Full Time only (no part time scheduling available)

  • Intermediate Ski or Snowboard Ability for on mountain locations

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Ability to speak, read, and communicate clearly in English

  • Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail and timeliness

  • Ability to work well within a team as well as with little supervision

  • Must be comfortable standing or walking for up to 8 hours a day

  • Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Card

  • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs

Work Schedule:

Must have a flexible work schedule which includes holidays and weekends. Part Time (24 hours a week) and Full Time (40 hours a week) shifts are available as well as the opportunity for Overtime during Peak business periods.

Available Opportunities:

We have on-mountain and base area positions available. Employees assigned to an on-mountain location must be able to Ski/Ride at an Intermediate Level and pass a Ski/Ride test upon hire. Positions are available in the following locations:

  • Tamarack Lodge (On Mountain Lodge in California/No ski/ride test required)

  • Steins (On Mountain Lodge in California/Intermediate ski/ride level required)
