Job Summary:

The Lead Guest Service: Greeter/Host position will work in various capacities to ensure our guests receive impeccable service and care while at our resort. This position will work at our base lodges and mountain locations to assist guests, answer questions and provide information. Additional responsibilities will be to assist in training and supporting new & returning employees with coaching.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet our guests; deliver outstanding guest service and accurate information

  • Assist in training new & returning employees

  • Provide guest service as a greeter at our base facilities

  • Present all programs to our guests; maintain a strong knowledge-base of Heavenly programming, pricing and availability

  • Provide our guests and employees with information about Heavenly and the services Heavenly provides

  • Assist our guests as they leave Heavenly as to which bus to get on or information about South Lake Tahoe

  • Assist other departments as needed.

  • Create a safe working environment for fellow employees and our guests.

  • Hand out hot chocolate and cookies holidays & weekends.

  • Maintain a neat work environment by shoveling, picking up trash and being proactive in safety.

  • Assist supervisor and manager in daily operations of the Greeter-Host department as requested

Qualifications :

  • Ability to lift and carry 80 lbs.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • 3 years of ski industry experience.

  • 2 years experience in eco-ranger/guest service field.

  • 3-5 years supervisor or managerial experience

  • Must have the ability to work outside in inclimate and varying weather conditions.

  • High School Diploma or GED
