Wage: $14-$17 depending on experience

The ability to quickly access repair issues and provide our guest with pricing and feedback
Enjoy a fast paced work environment and be comfortable working in an “open work shop” concept.
Repair, check and fix bikes following the Garbanzo Bike and Bean shop standards
Maintain a safe work environment.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are kept clean and organized.
Make sure that all bikes that leave the shop (rental or repaired) are safe and road/trail worthy.
Be customer service oriented and personable – working with our guest day in and day out
We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments as needed.

We typically require 3-4 years shop experience, however some exceptions may be made
Should have a good knowledge on the following:
Assemble/disassemble different types of bottom brackets, headsets and other bike industry standards
Change brake pads, bleed brakes for all types of hydraulic brake systems.
Wheel building, wheel truing, tire changing (tubular, clincher and tubeless)
Must possess the knowledge to identify and fix any drive train problems.
Change derailleurs and understand limit screw adjustments (front and rear)
Crank arm replacements
Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check.
A knowledge and understanding of suspension is an asset
