Position Status: Full Time (30-40 hours/week) Part Time (16-29 hours/week) Seasonal, Hourly

Seasonal positions can be differentiated from year round jobs as the have predefined start and end dates. These dates may vary due to seasonal business fluctuations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking food orders from our guests and offering menu and meal options in a friendly and helpful manner.

  • To provide top-quality preparation, presentation and over the counter service of all food to our Guests.

  • To understand and comply with Whistler Blackcomb’s HACCP and Food Safe programs.

  • To assist in the preparation and set up of food stations and the menu items served.

  • Some knife work and operation of food service equipment (e.g. slicer, deep fryer, broiler, griddle or BBQ).

  • To communicate demand of food supply with kitchen.

  • Stock and maintain a clean service area.

  • Provide guests with accurate information with regards to menu ingredients.

  • Ensuring that all Food Safe handling procedures are followed.

  • We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate our core values: Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, Have Fun.

  • Food Safe Certificate 1 (Course will be offered).

  • Food & Beverage/cooking experience an asset

  • Experience in dealing with people in a friendly, customer service focused environment

  • Proof of clear criminal record check.
