Whistler Blackcomb is currently looking for a Hut Bistro Lead to join the team at Wizard Grill, located at the base of the Blackcomb in the Upper Village.

What you'll be doing:

  • Striving to exceed our Guests' expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience again and again

  • Provide hands-on leadership and direction to food service employees in any assigned outlet.

  • Assist with employee training, development, and communication.

  • Be accountable for all cash control procedures.

  • Assist with all inventory controls.

  • Assist with scheduling and labour controls.

  • Promote a fair and harmonious work environment.

  • Ensure a safe work environment.

  • Ensure Food Safety compliance with regards to training, temperature monitoring, cleaning schedules and weekly internal auditing.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of all guest areas including the tables, floors and washrooms.

  • Follow opening and closing duties and weekly routines.

  • Enforcing Serving it Right standards.

  • Assisting the team in the service of the guest in any way necessary.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

What we need from you:

  • Kitchen or food handling experience within a restaurant required

  • Previous cash-handling experience required

  • Previous guest or customer service required

  • Experience in a supervisory/leadership role

  • Food Safe 1 (Course offered)

  • Proof of clear criminal record check.
