Position Summary: As a Retail Sales Associate, you will strive to exceed guest expectations in all aspects of the shopping experience; professional, knowledgeable, and providing a comfortable and inviting shopping atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, fun and customer-driven.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Displays a proven track record of high-quality customer service

  • Has service experience incorporating at least 6 months in a guest facing role.

  • Provides service experience that is personal, helpful and tailored to providing a solution to guest needs

  • Has had on the job experience with specific and/or general industry product knowledge

  • Understands individual sales performance expectations

  • Daily productivity measurement and targets

  • Is willing to sell outside their comfort zone

  • Has an ability to upsell, layer add-ons and cross-promotional products to the sale

  • Demonstrates the following desirable characteristics and competencies:

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to think independently and take the initiative where appropriate

  • Ability to be hands on with store maintenance and upkeep

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain a consistent and high level of guest service, utilizing our W.I.S.H service training - Welcome, Initiate conversation, Suggest, Help above and beyond.

  • Build a rapport with a wide variety of guests from around the world.

  • Meet store goals for guest service standards as measured by the Mystery Shopper program.

  • Strive to exceed daily and seasonal sales targets; use upselling and add-on to increase your sales.

  • Handle guest complaints, returns and exchanges in a friendly and courteous manner.

  • Be a resort concierge – learn about our town, available activities, restaurants etc. Be prepared to help our guests with a variety of questions and requests.

  • Offer accurate product information, features and benefits of the products.

  • Instruct guests regarding proper care and maintenance of the products.

  • Operate our point of sale, including opening and closing procedures.

  • Keep floor well stocked of sizes and styles and take part in inventory counts.

  • Always show up on time, in uniform, and adhere to the grooming policy!

  • We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments as needed.


  • Retail sales experience required – experience selling to meet sales targets is an asset.

  • Experience working in outdoor and/or fashion clothing retail is an asset.

  • Cash handling experience is an asset.

  • Must be friendly, outgoing and sociable.

  • Must be professional, dependable and a responsible member of the team.

  • Proof of clear criminal record check.
